Pencoed U10s Redbacks hosted Maesteg Celtic on a drizzly winter morning on 5th November. The Redbacks started strongly, creating space with great passing and awareness combined with a strong and mature defence, resulting in a seven try domination of the first half. The second half saw a more competitive Celtic, who were able to find some gaps out wide for three tries. However the Redbacks formation in attack was dominant resulting in a further six tries for a 65 -15 win. The result, although impressive, was secondary to the wonderful teamwork witnessed and the generousity and consideration for one another that the boys demonstrated.

While the tries were touched down by Joshua Gabrielsen (4), Henry Janes (4), Regan Jones (2), Matthew Webber (1), Thomas Whittingham (1) and Jac Hand (1), they were crafted as a team involving every single Redback from which they can take immense pride.
